FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF POLICE ORGANIZATIONS STATEMENT REGARDING THE ATTACKS ON
THE STATE OF ISRAEL

October 8, 2023

Alexandria, VA – Michael McHale, President of the National Association of Police Organizations, representing some 241,000 law enforcement officers across the United State, issued the following statement regarding the attacks on the State of Israel:

The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) condemns in the strongest possible terms the murderous and unprovoked attacks upon the State of Israel.  These attacks, deliberately targeting defenseless civilians going about their everyday lives, demonstrate unmistakably the criminal mindset of those responsible.  By avoiding those who could have defended themselves, and affirmatively choosing to kill without reason, without excuse, without provocation, and without discrimination, these butchers have placed themselves outside any bounds of civilized human behavior.  Their barbarous brutality will no doubt redound upon their own heads.  NAPO stands in solidarity with all those within the State of Israel who are striving to restore safety and freedom for their citizens.  NAPO calls upon all nations to join in eradicating this threat with determination, with resolve, and without compromise.
